LODGING - HOTEL ROOMS, RETREAT LODGES, CAMPING
You can book a single twin bed in a shared dorm style lodge room, a private Lodge Room, or a Hotel Room for the entire event (Rooms vary and sleep 2-4 people each). Arrive as early as Tuesday to set up, however festivities and meals do not begin until Wednesday at 8am.
Admission Badges sold separately from lodging.
Children and youth 17 and under must be accompanied by a guardian (childcare not provided).
SHARED LODGING – RETREAT LODGE (this is the most affordable option for a single traveler) – European hostel-style lodging. Individual travelers will be able to choose between shared mixed groups, all male, and all female dorm style lodge rooms. $125/person for the entire event.
RETREAT CENTER LODGES – DORM STYLE ROOMS
There are 3 Retreat Centers that each include 8 dorm style rooms with 2 twin bunk beds (2 upper and 2 lower), a central gathering room with fireplace and chairs, indoor dorm style restrooms and showers, a shared refrigerator, and low speed internet. Linens, pillows, and towels are not provided. $125/person for the entire event for a shared lodge room or rent a private lodge room for the entire event (sleeps 4) for $400.
MAIN LODGE – DORM STYLE ROOMS
These rooms are in the same building as the the main gaming area, dining hall, and include a shared kitchenette. They also include linens and pillows provided, air conditioning, high speed internet, and newly renovated indoor dorm style restrooms and showers with soap provided. Towels not included. Rooms sleep 2 to 4 people depending on the room. Prices from $625 – $650 for the entire event. Room numbers: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, and 29.
HILLSIDE RETREAT LODGE – HOME-STYLE BEDROOMS
This lodge boasts the charm of a shared home, with a full private kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and 8 individually rentable rooms sleeping 1-3 people each depending on the room, along with a shared living room and dining room. Guests may also enjoy the private outside patio, grill, and personal fire pit. Prices from $550 to $600 for the entire event.
HOTEL Accomodations - Onsite in Main Lodge
Immerse yourself in a HOTEL ROOM in the Main Lodge, right down the hall from the tabletop gaming room!
- Air conditioning.
- Private bathroom with towels & soaps provided.
- 2 full beds, blankets, linens and pillows provided.
- Sleeps 2-4 people. Additional cot available by request (limited).
- High speed WIFi.
- In the same building as dining and tabletop gaming!
- Outdoor patio access (lower rooms have a private sliding door with outside access).
- ADA compliant rooms available.
- Shared mini refrigerator in hallway for hotel guests. Easy access to kitchenette on lower level.
- $145/night (or $675 for Tue thru Sun).
CAMPING
CAMPING – $30/night or $100 for the entire event per tent, camper, or RV.
A Camping badge grants access to camping on the grounds for the entire event, for any number of guests – as long as they fit in a single tent, camper, or RV. Come in as early as Tuesday to set up, however festivities and meals do not begin until Wednesday at 8am.

Admission Badges are not included with the camping ticket, and are required to be purchased separately for each person. Admission Badges include access to all activities, such as 24 hour tabletop gaming in the Main Lodge, primitive woodworking, climbing wall, crafts, axe throwing, and archery.
TENTS, CAMPERS, AND RV’s will be arranged in large fields without hookups, electric, or septic. We will provide about a 20′ x 20′ spot for your tent. And a 20′ x 40′ field spot for your camper, and/or RV. Bathrooms may be used in the Main Lodge and Retreat Center Lodges. Fires are permitted. Please bring your own wood and fire ring if desired. Firewood will be available for purchase.
RV’s and generator users will be placed a little farther away in their own section of the field as best as possible.
LARP CAMPING – LARP camping is a camping location option near Retreat Center Lodge 1 where the tavern will be hosted. Camping in this location is reserved for those who have family / party members LARPing. No campfires or fire rings are allowed in the LARP camping section due to proximity to the lodge, however there is an awesome and very close LARP fire pit in the woods by the creek. This may be used for food preparation as well.
COMMUNITY FIRE PITS – The LARP Fire Pit (events based on LARP schedule), and the Main Lodge Community Fire Pit are available for all to use. Please bring firewood (firewood will be available for purchase).
Cooking on your own is welcome – Feel free to bring a grill, cook at either of the community fire pits, or your own private fire pit at your camping location. There is also a shared kitchenette in the Main Lodge that may be used.
4 wheel vehicles and ATV’s are not allowed. Bicycles are fine. Use of the creek and Finger Lakes Trail access are available at all times.

The Community Board Game Network is a not-for-profit humanitarian organization that utilizes creativity, adventure, and board gaming to add value to local communities. All funds collected are used for expenses related to Great Escape on the Lake. Our desire is to be able to fairly cover the expenses of those providing services for us. *Application process underway for 501(c) status.
Refunds, less a 10% convenience fee, are provided up until July 1st. All purchases are final after July 1st.
