Greetings Adventurer!
The royal court of Dragonia invites you to the first-ever Great Escape on the Lakes talent show! We are now soliciting auditions for the show, which will take place Friday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m. during Great Escape on the Lakes 2026!
To audition, please fill out the attached application form and include a link to a video of your act. Performances may be up to 15 minutes long and can be anything, not just music.
The theme for the talent show is fantasy medieval. To maintain immersion, we ask that performances not use obviously modern elements, such as electric instruments or modern-day lyrics. Amplification and microphones may be used, however, and a basic sound system (speakers, mixer, microphones) will be available.
We also encourage everyone to dress to fit the theme, but this is not mandatory. If you don’t have an outfit or costume, we have a large selection of items you can borrow!
Want to perform something that doesn’t fit the theme? No problem! An open mic will follow the show, anything goes, no auditions required.
In accordance with our community guidelines, please keep all performances (including open mic) family-friendly and free of religious or political themes.

To ensure the best possible experience, please observe the following guidelines:
Theming: The theme of this event is medieval fantasy, so please don’t use obviously modern elements in your performance. For example, no electric instruments or obviously modern-day lyrics. Amplification/microphones are the exception to this rule and may be used.
Attire: Dressing to fit the theme is encouraged but not required. If you don’t have an outfit or costume, we have a large selection of garb we can loan you!
Content: Please avoid religion and politics, and keep it family-friendly! Performances may be up to 15 minutes long and can be anything, not just music.
